Brain-tanned
buffalo robes: Have plush winter wool . These are
skinned in the historic Indian method to produce a
symetrical shape. The "square" shape fits
nicely on beds, floors, or as a wearing blanket. The old
skinning technique utilized more of the hide than today's
method, resulting in a greater size.
